Gatorland
Gatorland, a theme park and wildlife reserve that covers 110 acres in Orlando, Florida, United States, is the centerpiece of Gatorland. Gatorland was founded in 1949 by Owen Godwin and features thousands of alligators, crocodiles, as well as other reptiles and birds. There are thousands of alligators in the park, as well as crocodiles and snakes. It is home to “gator wrestling” shows that are held every day. Owen Godwin, who leased land from the City of Orlando in 1949, founded Gatorland. Godwin started a small attraction on the roadside called “Alligator Farm”. He built a 1,200-foot boardwalk across an alligator lake in 1950. This became the “Boardwalk to Adventure”. It also had birds, snakes, and other animals.
