Glenridge Middle School opened all the way back in 1955. It has been one of the most successful middle schools in Orlando since then. Glenridge Middle School students are enjoying high academic and social success.
Glenridge students consistently outperform their peers in state standardized tests academically. For example, 82% Glenridge students scored above grade level in reading on the 2016 FCAT 2.0, compared with 67% district-wide. In math, 77% of Glenridge students scored above grade level, compared with 60% of students in the district.
Glenridge students thrive socially. Glenridge students have a strong sense of community and are involved in service and extracurricular activities. Glenridge students have received numerous awards for academic and artistic accomplishments. The school hosts regular community events like food drives and holiday celebrations.
